Rayman Legends’ Wii U trailer was leaked. Anyone played Origins?

Blizzvalve:

I have.

No, sadly. I want to play it, BUT…. it came out same time as Skyrim, then December happened, then exams, then work, etc.

tl;dr I need to get it.

Blizzvalve:

It’s a fun game, but it’s extremely hard in some places, especially if you are trying to collect everything.

Willy:

It’s cool how they showed off the Wii U tablet’s NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.

Blizzvalve:

It’s basically Skylanders. Looks like everybody’s jumping on the bandwagon, and Nintendo is going to give it to them.

Willy:

NFC seemed to be something Nintendo would have revealed at E3; guess the surprise is ruined.

Blizzvalve:

We knew about NFC since January. I’m more interested in Nintendo Network, especially how they are focusing more on digital downloads. They better not attach retail game purchases to the console instead of an account.

Willy:

Nintendo Network for Wii U will use accounts, but it seems that the 3DS will not. However, I thought it was very progressive for Nintendo to have full DD support. Not even Sony does that.

Blizzvalve:

Sony is now starting to do that; retail games are now available on PSN, and Microsoft has been doing this for a while now (except they release everything a year later).

Willy:

Yeah, I noticed that The Force Unleashed 2 came up on PSN recently. Good job Sony! What’s interesting is that New Super Mario Bros. 2 will be a simultaneous DD and retail release.

Blizzvalve:

I think Nintendo Network accounts will transfer over to the 3DS and replace Friend Codes, especially now that games can be patched and updated. Let’s just hope Nintendo doesn’t do something retarded with their online in order to be “unique”.

Willy:

They will keep doing Communities. That’s their thing. Also, anything new for Xbox that isn’t Halo 4?

Blizzvalve:

Well, Kinect games….
